Supporting Family Promise of Riverside
It takes a village.
At FIT4MOM Riverside, we believe in raising strong moms, strong kids, and a stronger community.
This year, we're honored to officially partner with Family Promise of Riverside, an incredible organization dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness build brighter futures.
We had the privilege of touring their facility with Executive Director Claire Jefferson-Glipa, and we left inspired, humbled, and more motivated than ever to help.
What we saw wasn't just an organization providing temporary assistance.
We saw hope.
We saw families rebuilding their lives.
We saw children laughing, learning, and playing.
We saw parents working toward stability with the support they need to create a better future for their children.
Family Promise provides so much more than a place to stay. They help families access food, clothing, furniture, hygiene supplies, cleaning products, baby items, and everyday essentials that many of us use without giving them a second thought.
A kitchen table where a family can eat dinner together.
A couch where children can cuddle up and read a book.
Laundry facilities so kids can go to school in clean clothes.
A safe place for babies to crawl, play, and grow.
Breastfeeding supplies for a new mom.
Books that help a child learn to read.
These aren't luxuries.
They're the building blocks of childhood.
As moms, we know that children learn through movement, play, routine, connection, and feeling safe. Every child deserves those opportunities.
And every parent deserves the chance to create them.
Why This Matters to FIT4MOM
Our mission has always been about more than fitness.
We exist to support moms.
To build villages.
To strengthen families.
Partnering with Family Promise allows us to extend that mission beyond our own community and into the lives of families who need it most.
We also believe this is an opportunity to teach our own children something incredibly important—that kindness, generosity, and community matter.
When our children see us giving back, they learn what it means to care for others.
They learn that even small acts of kindness can change someone's day—and sometimes, their future.
Together, we can show them what it truly means to be a village.

Each month, our FIT4MOM Riverside village will come together to support one specific need identified by Family Promise of Riverside
August: Snack Packing Party and Book Donations
Help us set children up for success this school year by donating:
- Children's books
- Healthy individually packaged snacks
We'll be creating snack packs and helping every child have books to practice reading at home.
September: Halloween Costume Donation
Every child deserves the excitement of choosing a Halloween costume.
Donate a new or gently used costume, and you'll be entered into a raffle to win exclusive FIT4MOM Riverside swag!
October: Rainy Day Essentials
Help families stay dry this season by donating:
- Rain boots
- Rain jackets
- Umbrellas
(New or gently used items are welcome)
November: Warm & Cozy Collection
Let's help families stay warm with:
- Slippers
- Robes
- Hooded towels and robes
- Warm hats
- Cozy winter essentials
December: Giving Machine at Tyler Mall
Family Promise of Riverside will once again be featured in the Giving Machine at Tyler Galleria.
While you're doing your holiday shopping, you'll have the opportunity to purchase much-needed items directly for local families.
We'll share more information as we get closer!
